Yesterday just came back from SME sub com camp. It is our first sub com camp and is mostly planned by the year 2 as the year 3 had just came back from cambodia. I learn alot and at the same time had lots of fun from the camp.
The turn out for the camp on thursday was below our expectation. But the camp still need to go on. Therefore there was only two groups for the camp. But with two groups, we had alot of fun too. First we played ice breaking games in the classrooms. After that, the groups went to their respective classroom to do their flags. After dinner, they had their games, which i was not around. Because i had to bowl that day in Jurong for collegate leg. So i did not know how things went about for the night except i heard it was fun.
The second day of camp was fast and tiring. I woke up at 5am to go collect breakfeast. After that i went back to sleep for awhile cuz the night i did not sleep because i couldn't sleep. At 8am, everyone woke up. We went down to had our breakfast. After that, main com went for debrife in SME room for the day's activities. It was a very rush one because we needed to choose our option and cds.
Before the games start, area mastress was very the stress sia. She kept calling us to be quick. But when we reached our area, it was still early. So i waitied at the bus stop for the first group to come. The wait was about 1hr.
When the group completed their task, they had to go for their lunch. While everyone were having their lunch, i went to the void deck to sleep till 1pm when the game resume. I went back to the bus stop. This time i boought newpaper to read. Just nice, when i finish reading, the groups came. The same thing happen, when they finish, i went back to bedok interchange to meet area mistress. Things did not went well. So we decided to cancel some areas. We sat in the middle of the interchange and do our discussion. Than use handphone to communitcate. Think this month my HP bill very ex. sia.
I went back to school immediately after all discussion were made. But in school more things happen. So i cannot take any station, someone took over me. I had to go take the fire extinguisher. But it took a very long process because i was kick from one area to another. Luckily estate the people were good. And i manage to get the fire extinguisher. More things
happen, we do not had the secrity clearance and production crew withdrew at the very last min. We need to sit up our own production crew and i was running around to get the items.
In the nite, the campfire started and end fast due to the rain. While everybody went to LT to catch a movie, me and my log team clear up the area. After we transport everything back to the club room, we prepared water bombs for the next day's activites. It was quit fun preparing. There was alot of laughter.
After supper, i was told to go and sleep and not join the discussion for the next day's actvities. So i slept till 6am.
Day 3 was fun but stress for me. I was running around to get items because while preparing the station, something happen. After that, i went out of school to buy lunch. While everyone were having fun, i was sitting at the coffee shop waiting for the lunch to be prepared. When i went back to school, i was so touch that everyone were cleaning up the place for me and not leaving the mess awaiting for me to clean up. For this i really wish to think everyone.
After lunch i went a bit crazy. I got angry over a very small matter which me myslef also don't know why. But after awhile i was back to my ownself again. I was playing happily.
Everyone had fun during the camp and after the camp, we went to TM to eat. Me and my cousin went home first while the rest went other places.
A first time is always a learning exp.
